DUTIES

Top wages paid for experienced construction equipment technician for a growing industrial equipment dealer. 

Perform quality maintenance, diagnostics, disassembly’s, inspections, rebuilds and assemblies of components including hydraulics, fuel systems, power generation, electrical codes, etc.  Must have own tools.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in hydraulic & electrical troubleshooting & repair preferred. Recent diesel technician school program applicants encouraged to apply.

HOURS & PAY

  • 40 HRS/WK, First shift position, Monday – Friday
  • $25.00 – $36.00 per hour, depending on experience

OUTSIDE TOOLING SALES ASSOCIATE – LISBON (MILWAUKEE)

DUTIES

The Outside Tooling Sales representative is responsible for an assigned geographic territory to develop, grow and sell Vermeer parts including tooling and accessories for down-hole drills, steering equipment and products used in day-to-day drilling projects and the pull back of various sized conduits. This position will require travel primarily in the territory supported by the Lisbon branch and may also require travel across other areas of Southern Wisconsin. This position may occasionally require overnight stays.

The individual in this position will be sales focused, highly motivated, personable, a problem solver, reliable, ethical, and able to work in a team environment. It is extremely important that this individual has a strong knowledge of Horizontal Directional Drilling and interpersonal communications skills and be fully supportive of the Vermeer Wisconsin mission statement.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As directed, travel daily to customer facilities and job sites to spur sale activity. Communicate current and future product offerings, technological initiatives and product enhancements, new product introduction and market strategies. Provide suggested solutions for unique needs of drilling projects.
  • Seek to understand customers’ business models to influence key players.
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships, provide exceptional customer service, and recommend accessories based on customer need, cost, availability and specifications.
  • Support the role as it relates to “Selling the house”, including talking about the service department.
  • Document activity in ACT CRM, documenting all customer interactions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Minimum of 5 years previous parts sales experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the Vermeer product line, and machine application, especially the HDD industry
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills
  • Proficient using O365, ERP systems, online systems and portals

HOURS & PAY

  • Base Salary + Commission
